Oxbow Preserve, Napa, California
Oxbow Preserve is one of Napa's dog parks. There are a couple of "this can't be right" moments driving on what looks like private driveways, but keep going straight from McKensie Drive. You will see the sign at the bottom of the hill. Parking is limited so don't tell too many people about it.
There are two parts to the park. First is an open area with a blacktop walk going around it. The other part is to the south-west of that. It is an open wooded area with crushed granite trails. The trees are not very thick and there is plenty of room to run. There are even a few placed where we can get down to the river. If the tide is out, there is a beach.
